Meet Brooklyn and Kane

These two are the names and faces behind the name “BK” They are in charge of quality control, taste testing and of course they love our product.

My two babies are the reason I started my search to provide them with a healthier diet. I couldn’t find what I wanted on the store shelves. There were ingredients on those bags that had me concerned whether it was even safe to be feeding them that stuff long term. So, after much research I decided ‘raw’ was the way to go, and just looking at my healthy and energetic dogs I’m so happy I did. They’ve been eating raw since they were puppies. Their coats are shiny and their poops are small and firm which basically disintegrate in the yard. Along with their high energy level they are happy and healthy.

B.A.R.F. – Biologically Appropriate Raw Food

What should I supplement into my dogs raw dinners?

If your dog food doesn’t contain bones, you can supplement the diet with bone meal or other calcium replacements like eggshell powder, seaweed, or coral calcium. Its crucial to maintain a balanced calcium and phosphorus ratio in the diet, especially for puppies and pregnant/nursing mothers. Additionally, you can offer raw meaty bones (RMB’s) as a separate meal or add ground bone content to your dog’s food.
Other suggestions – Veggies: Carrots, broccoli, yams, spinach, pumpkin
Fruits: apples, blueberries.
Rice, kefir, sardines, quail eggs
Not every meal has to be “perfect”, incorporate balance and variety over time.
These additions are suggestions only, please consult with your dogs veterinarian for possible allergic reactions to any foods.
